I’m reading The Book of Lost Books, by Stuart Kelly. It’s totally delightful.
An interesting link from the website BookForum, a review of Lewis Hyde’s Common As Air, here. I haven’t read this book (or Hyde’s previous one, The Gift), but apparently there are interesting issues about copyright and creativity.
In other words, 621 new words today (short story, with title). Thoughts developing more and more about the Master story, and some adjusting of ideas/plot. Recurring to mythology, after all, is allowed. I’d love to keep the scope of story sort of intimate, but it may not be possible.
Getting up early maybe really works?
